Panel discussions: Investing in excellence for the tourism of the future

Regional Competence Center Catering School Opatija organized on 17.10.2022. two panel discussions on the topic “Investing in excellence for the tourism of the future”.
They were intended for students, tourism and hospitality professionals and confectioners of the Opatija Hospitality School and partner schools, and were held at the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality in Ika.
The hall was full of high school students, and they had the opportunity to gain useful knowledge from well-known experts in their fields. The panelists were Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board, Nataša Kovačić Stilinović, director of human resources at Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa, Igor Nekić, chief business development director of Liburnia Riviera Hotel, Maša Salopek, the best pastry chef in The Best Chef Top100 , Dražen Zeljković, owner of Chozen, a domestic brand of premium chocolate candies, and Tina Vidović – head pastry chef at Hilton Rijeka Costabella.
The panel took place as part of the RCK Recipe project – Regional Center for Professions in Tourism, the value of which is close to HRK 60 million, and was financed by grants from the European Social Fund.
