School competition – Culinary Art
Three students from Catering school Opatija participated in the school culinary competition in category 1 (menu preparation) held on April, 4th 2022.
The students prepared a three-course menu with predefined ingredients and a common food basket. Assignment menu included: warm apetiser – homemade pastry; main course – pork tenderloin; dessert – apple.
Out of a 100 point total, the students were awarded: 1st place – 96 points, 2nd place – 90 points, 3rd place – 87 points. Board of judges were culinary art teachers and a teacher of catering services.
