Panel discussion – “Investment in excellence for the future of tourism”

The panel discussion „Investment in excellence for the future of tourism“ was held on 19th November 2022 at Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, organized by RCK Catering School Opatija. The panel was intended for the students of catering, hospitality and tourism management.

Top chefs David Skoko, Deni Srdoč and Tino Sinožić took part in the first panel, discussing its main topic – investment in the excellence in culinary industry. The panelists concluded that the exellence is crucial and it should be the main goal in their profession. They also advised the students not to rush through their work, but to take one step at the time. Since working in culinary industry may be both rewarding and lucrative, the focus of their message for the young people was to underline the importance of inspiration and persistence.

Catering and hospitality industry experts, Domagoj Trusić, Franko Lukež and Zoran Lukić took part in the discussions of the second panel. They all agreed on tha fact that the key to excellence lies in education, professional development, love of the profession and good cooking techniques.
